As some of you may be well aware, genealogy research is often an extensive and time-consuming endeavor. Many of you have been doing this for years and you know there is still more to discover. You have been trying to move forward but you came across a barrier like a foreign language or you hit some other “brick wall” which stuck you for long. Or you might be just starting. You are aware that your forefathers emigrated from somewhere in central Europe but know very little about your ancestry and wondering where to begin. Based on more than a decade of individual and team experience of performing thousands of genealogy projects we are here to assist in your family discovery journey. We can give you a head start or we can try to help you in overcoming the obstacles you have encountered. Read more…
Update: June 22, 2021
Poland is now open for travelers flying from the USA, Canada, Australia, and many other countries!
Starting from June 19, 2021, most of the EU countries including Poland are open for the United States, Canadian, and other countries’ citizens. The quarantine is mandatory for travelers coming from outside of the European Union, however, a negative result of COVID test taken 48 hours prior to arrival or within the 48 hours after the arrival, or a document confirming full vaccination will allow avoiding quarantine. More details can be found on the official government site here: https://www.gov.pl/web/usa-en/changes-regarding-travel-restrictions-to-poland.
What is also important, you will have to remember that coming back to the USA will require negative test results as well. It has to be done within 72 hours before the flight. The airline will validate whether the passenger has the test done or not. It’s possible to do the test at the airport and in several places around the country. To find more details about the test before coming back to the USA and the list of places where you can take the test, please visit the US Embassy website: https://pl.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/.
For all of our tours’ guests who are willing to get help in taking COVID tests, we will assist in arranging that.

I was very satisfied with how things turned out. The reports were quite useful and helped me correct several errors that I had made in determining my Polish roots. The communication process was prompt and helpful. I am happy that I came across your genealogy service as it would have been impossible for me to have collected the information that you have provided me had I not been working with skilled researchers in Poland.
I am overjoyed! Thank you very much for the research report and all the additional information you forwarded to me yesterday.
I am so grateful for the work you and your team have put into this project!
It’s been a pleasure working with you and I would have no hesitation recommending PolishOrigins.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am thrilled to learn my great grandparents’ names. And I am thrilled to learn about additional siblings. So, as it happens, the more answers I get, the more questions I have. Still, I am thrilled with what you have been able to uncover thus far. Thank you.
I am very impressed with PolishOrigins – more so than the bigger named genealogical services! Quick response; fast turn-around; detailed, on the ground, thorough research. My case is particularly challenging as most records were destroyed. PolishOrigins has given me family names and records that I thought were lost to time forever. Now I want more! I highly recommend their services!
PolishOrigins was wonderful to deal with and were able to find my grandfather’s birth record in Blizne, which opened the door to our search for living relatives. After which, PolishOrigins’ researcher journeyed to Blizne and found my living relatives. He took photos of their homes, which matched our photos taken some 60 years ago! He even included in his report a relative’s email address and we have developed communication including exchanging photos of our families. We can’t thank PolishOrigins enough for your excellent service. Aleksander Zawilski has been wonderful in answering all of my questions and giving us helpful information! Keep up the great work and God bless you for rendering your valuable services!
